Pokémon has been one of my all-time favorite video game franchises. Although I don't watch the anime that much as I used to do before, I still enjoy watching some bits and pieces of it, and it's quite enjoyable!
One of my lifetime goals is to make 3D pictures of every single Pokémon ever made. All of them are in my now inactive DeviantArt account, but I definitely plan on working on it eventually. However, since the release of Scarlet & Violet and Pokémon Legends: Z-A, I plan to revamp all of my existing 3D renders and make updated versions with the new models. They look really good, and let's not forget that it would finally be consistent, since I've used 3D models for several other games in the series.
Most of my 3D renders are made using models from Sun & Moon, since I think they're darn impressive for a 3DS
game polycount-wise. They look even better when applying tesselation (A.K.A. subdivision surface, something that
makes the models look smoother) to them!
I guess it's no surprise that my favorite Pokémon overall is Oshawott! That fella is so darn silly and cute!
Don't be surprised either to learn that my favorite Pokémon type are Fairy-type,
and my second place goes to Ribombee. Alola really brought some killer designs in their Pokémon, in my opinion.
I'm not into the competitive scene, but I do enjoy watching some of those VGC competitions! Also, I absolutely love watching Nuzlocke runs, especially the randomized variants. I'm not super knowledgeable in Pokémon but I still understand a couple of things about it (techniques and features such as breeding, IVs, nature, movesets...); though I'm not a pro at the game.
If you want to see my 3D pics, look at the navigation bar on the left (or even some of the backgrounds here, you're probably seeing one right now!). You can find all the Pokémon I've made (along some other peple who wanted to help) for my Pokédex goal. As I said before, I'm definitely planning to revamp these, so stay tuned!
